CheckdMedia teamed up with 32Red for a successful content amplification partnership

Objective:


Ahead of the Championship play-off finals with Aston Villa vs Derby, we were asked to create a competition to encourage video views for the 32Red Championship playoff content. The content was then to be hosted on Footy Accumulators and amplified across CheckdMedia’s internal network.

Our target overall: 100,000 video views

What we did:

Ahead of the match, CheckdMedia amplified 32Red’s video content of Shuffle T’s play-off poem. The content was also paired with a competition on Twitter that encouraged engagement by instructing followers to “watch the video & screenshot when '32Red' appears in the subtitles”.

Results:

The full video was posted directly on Facebook, the perfect platform to drive follower-to-follower conversation around the content.

And Twitter was the chosen platform for the competition, which was shared four times throughout the day along with CheckdMedia’s seamless amplification process which resulted in a substantial number of video views.
