WHAT WE DID:
The first step in our strategy was to build follower numbers by generating reactive, entertaining general sports knowledge to attract a mass audience. As numbers grew, we partnered this with amplification activity. Our amplification process in which brands such as Footy Accumulators, Oddschanger and The Winners Enclosure interact with posts, helped to build impressions and engagement significantly. Our social media team worked to produce engaging, high quality branded social content such as GIFS, videos, images and competitions along with round the clock responses during live sporting events, as well as pushing Fansbet offers continuously throughout the week
In just a few months we hit a substantial increase in follower growth and produced such engaging content that we were hitting 1,000,000 impressions daily which overall was a 2,400% increase on the original figures with 16,920,000 impressions in February and 29,400,000 impressions in March.
